Porch Columns

Nothing says “Southern Elegance” like a graceful front gallery, but a porch is nothing without its columns!

Porch columns have always been a delicate way to accent the exterior of gorgeous homes, and when those columns are reclaimed from beauties of the past, they have their own stories to tell.  All of the porch columns we have in our HCM warehouse were salvaged from a landmark century-old home in Jennings, Louisiana, and are made of solid pine.  Pine, a softwood native to the United States, has a long history of use in woodworking; craftsmen prize its airy feel and “knotty” character that ensures no two pieces are alike.
